For your fingers

Inspired by the sensorial connection of adornment to the body and the art of metalsmithing, Monastery pieces reflect influences of ancient histories intertwined with punk sensibilities. The jewellery is designed to be both strong and understated, representing an austere solitude and allowing adornments to speak for the wearer.

Handmade with meticulous care in my studio in Amsterdam, each piece is totally unique due to the nature of my process.

Most of my work is made with the lost wax casting technique by moulding wax into form. Other pieces are made with traditional metalsmithing techniques.

  • Handcrafted items made to heirloom standards in sterling silver and gold. Every piece is individually made in my studio in Amsterdam, so they may take up to 4 weeks for manufacture, depending on the complexity of the piece.

  • Each piece of jewellery is made by hand per order, ensuring little excess. Jewellery is precious and this guarantees that each item is unique and beautiful.

  • Responsible materials sourced and recycled metals used as often as possible. All gems are natural and thus will differ from piece to piece.
